The Senior Proposal Manager (PM) supports sales productivity and deal flow by developing the pricing and commercial solution for large scale energy storage systems. Such solutions will comprise of extended scope offerings ranging from integrated AC energy storage systems to long-term service agreements. It is expected that the position will also have responsibility for battery-only (DC) solutions to support our HQ-based colleagues in Korea.
This position is responsible for supporting all phases of LGES Vertech’s sales process, including but not limited to opportunity qualification, reviewing and preparing comments on specifications and tender documents, responding to Requests for Proposal (RFP), proposal development, contract deal team leadership, customer submittal preparation, providing equipment functionality and capability reports to the sales team and acting as the primary liaison between Sales, Sales Engineering, Project Execution, and Legal. This position must be able to establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships throughout the sales cycle.
The position will require the successful candidate to either be based at the Westborough, MA office or alternatively make arrangements to be present in the office on a reasonably frequent basis (approx. one 3-day visit every month is anticipated). Travel to meet with customers during bid reviews and/or contract negotiations is also expected.
