As a Technical Sales Engineer reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, your knowledge and experience reviewing proposals and working with clients will be essential in ensuring the correct details of product offerings are included in contracted services. You will work with the sales team to answer RFP’s and other questions from customers. Coordinate product offerings
Responsibilities:
- Work with the sales team during the proposal process to provide guidance in product offerings and modifications to language as appropriate to match with the company provided solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, demos supporting customer use cases.
- Work with the product team to identify new features or gaps in current offerings to be considered in future development.
- Work with the product team to price software and controls features based on market data.
- Respond to customer RFI’s with technical details and analysis supporting use cases.
- Create technical artifacts that aid the sales team in customer interactions.
- Stay current on renewable energy and storage trends and relevant markets for company’s products.
